Victoria Vallev News
Personal Miss Smith who has been spending her holidays with Mr. and Mrs. P. Hansen, has returned to Auckland. We are sorry to report that Mr. H. Kitchen who is in the Kaitaia Hospital has not made any improvement. On the 19th February Mr. and Mrs. H. Cochrane and family leave here to reside in Whangarei. For several years Mr. Cochrane has been employed by Public Works as a skilled worker, and anyone who knows anything about road formation etc. must admit that the Mangonui County is losing an exceptionally good man, but this County’s loss will be Whangarei’s gain as we hear that he will be doing the same class of work there. We wish Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane and family every succes in Whangarei. Mr. and Mrs. Meredyth-Young have returned t 0 Auckland after visiting their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Speedie.
