Results of Saturday’s Play
G. Nicholls with 36 points and E. Clarke and A. Hunger, each with 35, were the top scorers in the first round for th e Captain’s Prize. This is a Stableford Eclectic competition the new members are asked to note that although they may have turned in poor cards on Saturday, they may qualify highly in the conluding round of the 36 holes this week.

The winner of the competition which ended last Saturday, the best two out of three Medal rounds, was Mrs. Wilson with a score of 152 nett, the next best being Miss Brljevich with 153 nett, Mrs. A. White with 154 nett and Mrs. Freeman with 155 nett. The winner of Saturday’s L.G.U. The best score for Saturday’s play was that of Mrs. Gray.
