Personal Mr. F. Grbich hgs returned home after a short stay'in Auckland. Mr. Bobby Mui4ay is spending a holiday at Ahipara. Guests at the fierekino Hotel lately were Mrs. Mattllfews and Mr. Griffiths of Auckland,%lr. and Mrs. Johnstone of HamiltoivMiss Collings and Mr. Lacey of Whangtarei, Mr. Green and Mr. Kare of Kaißw,he, and Mr. and Mrs. McClure of Te tPuke. August’s Weath&r During the last month there were 15 days on which rain fell, and two frosts. The heaviest day’s rain was on the 23rd when .55” were recorded. The total rain for the month was 3.57”.
