Personal Rev. and Mrs. T. Hay of Christchurch were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. Newman last week.Mrs. G. Godfrey has returned after spending a holiday in Whangarei. Miss M. Mansbridge was the guest of Mrs. Bramble of Herekino last week. Mrs. McCraith visited Auckland last week and she was accompanied by her son, Maurice. CRICKET MATCH Broadwood v. Mamari On Saturday last the Broadwood and Mamari cricket teams met again in the second round of the competition ; the former team were the winners on the Ist innings. The results are as follows : Mamari, Ist innings, 49 (W. Armstrong 10). Bowling—S. Fergusson 6 for 12, J. Hick 4 for 34. Broadwood, Ist innings, 85 (N. Fergusson 36, S. Fergusson 12). Bowling—S. Mansbridge 4 for 22, E. Kingdon 3 for 22, W. Armstrong 2 for 25, H. Irving 1 for 4. Mamari, 2nd innings, 37 (W. Armstrong 11, R. Hawkins 11). Bowling —S. Fergusson 4 for 17, J. Hick 6 for 17.
