Saturday’s race from Palmerston North (399 miles) was for old birds. The only two birds to finish in race time both belonged to Howard Rogers. Next Saturday’s race will be for young birds from Te Kuiti (287 miles) and the race the following Saturday for old birds from the Wellington district (473 miles). Points for the Racing Pigeons Cup at the present time, stand as follows: B. Bird 25 H. Rogers 17 T. Hales 14 J. Foster 8 Mrs. F. Bradley 5 T. Jarnet 3 • F. Donaldson 2
