Meteorological The rainfall for November registered 2.94 points. Rain fell on thirteen days. T 0 date the rainfall for eleven months is 86 inches. Church Bazaar The Anglican Church Ladies’ Guild held a very successful function in the hall on Saturday night. Gifts of vegetables, cakes and fancy goods were on sale and found ready purchasers, and the sum of £36 was netted as a result. PADDY’S MARKET Plunket funds will benefit by more than £SO as the result of the Paddy’s Market held in the Parish Hall yesterday. There was a fair attendance in the hall throughout the day but there were still many articles not sold. It is hoped to have a street stall in the near future. The home-made sweets were of a high order and they were all sold in no time. The Committee, members and willing helpers did a fine job of work in organising this successful function. Competition winners were : Cakes—Mrs. Gooch ; Frock.—Mrs. L. Gallagher ; Coat—Mrs. Lysaght ; Turkey—Mrs. Win Foster ; Chocolate—Mrs. Creelman ; Sweets—Miss Joy Wilson.

PRODUCTION FIGURES Last month at the Kaitaia Dairy Cpmpany’s factory, 3614 tons of butter were made as compared with 343 J tons for November last year, an increase of 181 tons or 5.3 percent. The season to date has seen a make of 1013 tons against last year’s corresponding figure of 985 tons, an increase of 28 tons or 2.84 percent.
