Personal Mrs. C. Spanhake and baby daugh ter have returned home after spend ing a few days with relatives. Mrs. S. Fleming spent last week end at Totara North. Young People’s Club Last Friday evening the Younj People’s Club held its usual fort
nightly function and everyone spenl an enjoyable evening. At 9 o’clock the Committee members gathered together in the suppei room to discuss plans for the Children’s Christmas Tree, which is to b« held on the 16th December. Wher the Committee had finished theii business a delicious supper was served and dancing continued until midnight. Soft Ball Kaitaia and Kaingaroa played a very solid match at Kaingaroa last Saturday, the game resulting in a win for the local team by 24 to 23 Players for Kaingaroa were as follows : Messrs. M. Waitohi (pitcher) F. Spanhake (catcher), H. Smith (Ist base), R. Wallace (2nd base), B Spanhake (3rd base), B. Waitohi, J Penny, T. Wallace, F. Morey.
