CROQUET
During the weekend the Kaitaia croquet greens looked and played exceptionally well. The gardens and surroundings added to the beauty of the lawns, making an afternoon along at croquet indeed a pleasant experience. Results of Hollay Memorial handicap matches were : J, Mrs. F. Weber (5) defeated Mrs. J. Harrington (12), 26-10. Mrs. Weber (5) defeated Mrs. Wil- ! kinson (10), 26-9. Mrs. Morpeth (4) defeated Mrs. Cave (10), 26-13. Mrs. Hanlon (7) defeated Mrs. Cave (10), 26-20. Mrs. Molloy (2) defeated Mrs. Knightbridge (11), 26-15. Mrs. Puckey (6) defeated Mrs. Cave (10), 26-11. Mrs. Osbaldiston (8i) defeated Mrs. Knightbridge (11), 26-21. Mrs. Osbaldiston (8£) defeated Mrs. Harrington (11), 26-5. A Buttons match resulted in Mrs. j Morpeth and Mrs. Whitburn defeatinf Mrs. May and Mrs. Stanton, 26-9.
