If the weather is favourable then a last minute effort to build up your supplies of hay and silage will be well worth while when the winter months come along. Wa should aim at closing at least 30% perhaps as much as 40% of our pasture land as this is the minimum amount fo.suppfying adequate food during the lean months. Our objective for the coming season is 190,000 tons of butterfat and we must see that Britain gets all the butter we have promised.
