ANGLICAN LADIES GUILD
Eight tables were in operation at the fortnightly progressive 500 evening held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, August 17. Prizes were won by Miss Shirley Marchant and Mr. Clive Matthews, the consolation awards going to Miss M. Johnson and Mr. Frank Matthews. Special prizes kindly donated by Mr. Louden for the highest score for the last four evenings were won by Mrs. Gray and Mr. Louden. The prizes were beautifully decorated cakes. The competition for the evening was won by Miss Jean Mclntosh, and the usual excellent supper and cheery fire were much appreciated. The next function will be on August 31.
