ANGLICAN CARD EVENING
Unpleasant weather did not prevent a good attendance at the fortnightly progressive 500 evening held in the Parish Hall by the Anglican Ladies’ Guild on Tuesday, August 3. The increasing popularity of this fixture necessitated the use of 11 tables and the usual good supper and fire added to the evening’s enjoyment. Prizes were won by Mrs. H. Mclntosh and Mr. Trail, the consolation awards going to Mrs. Roy Miller and Mrs. J. Miller. The competition was won by Mr. Forde. The next evening will be held on 17th August.
