AWANUI RIFLE CLUB
Last week's shoot of the Awanui Rifle Club was held in Mr. T. J. Gardiner’s Garage last Tuesday evening. In the Junior Shoot the trophy round was won by Denzil Switzer. The shoot for the special handicap trophy saw a shoot-off between Denzil Switzer and Desmond Bird, the latter winning the trophy. The Senior Medal Round was won by W. R. Craig w’ith 48 off the rifle in 10 shots. The Handicap match was won by J. Matthews, (10 handicap) who was the only man to shoot a possible with his handicap.
