Well ! Well ! Believe it or not, a couple of* farmers complained the other day that they had too much grass and didn’t know what they could do unless they went to the great expense of buying a mower in order to cut back the pest. Now then, who’s responsible for this disgraceful state of affairs ? Savage or the war? Perhaps a biting remit by the Farmers’ Union would rectify the matter? Purely Personal Miss Aline Nilsson returned on Saturday from her annual vacation spent in the South. Miss D. Puckey returned on Saturday from a short visit to Auckland. Mrs. Anderson returned during the weekend from a holiday trip. "Mrs. F. Donaldson is back in Kaitaia again after a holiday spent in the South. Mr. Harold Gray of Auckland is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. GrayMiss B. Archibald is visiting the district. Mrs. C. Kerr of Dargaville spent a few days last week with her daughters, Misses H. and M. Kerr, at Kaitaia.
