KAITAIA CLUB The final for the H. McDonald cup was played on the Kaitaia golf links on Saturday, when Walter Christensen beat K. McWatters, 2 up and 1 to play. In competition for the Scratchees’ Cup, to some players the most coveted trophy in the Club, played on Sunday, F. Taylor proved the winner. The cup was presented by Mrs. Roy Kelly and the winner’s health drunk with musical honours.
KAITAIA LADIES’ CLUB
In the semi-finals for the Forgan cup played by the members of "the Kaitaia Ladies’ Golf Club, Mrs. Roy Kelly beat Mrs. Watts and the match between Miss Wilkinson and Miss Henehan ended all square. By defeating Mrs. W. Christensen, Miss Wilkinson won the senior championship of the club, and Miss Osborne gained the junior championship when she defeated Miss Henehan.
