SUCCESSFUL CARNIVAL DANCE The Kaitaia High School Old Pupils’ Association’s dance held in the A. and P. Hall, Kaitaia, last night, crowned the unstinted efforts of the organisers with the success they deserved. Novelty dances, streamers and balloons, which are seldom seen at dances in this district, made the carnival spirit complete. A good floor, good music by the Ritz Orchestra, and the conscientious carrying out of his duties as m.c. by Mr. Arthur Bell, played a major part in the success of the social section of the festivities. The monte carlos were won by Miss L. Hick and partner and Miss C. Black and Mr. R. May. Mr. H. Parker, partnered by Miss A. Rule, just pipped Fred and partner, at the post for the prize for the balloon dance. The. committee served supper which notwithstanding the fact that the ice cream buffet was well patronised, was justly enjoyed. Woods Great Peppermint Cure For Children’s Hacking Cough
