Miss Joan Johnston left this week for Auckland to take up nursing duties at the Auckland hospital. Mr. and Mrs. D. Whitefield of Auckland, who have been spending a holiday with relatives in this district, returned home this week. Mr. and Mrs I. J. Berghan of Ahipara, have returned from a trip to Auckland. Mr. J. Carol a n of Kaitaia, was in Auckland this week. Mr. and Mrs. W. Vickers of llerekiuo are away in the South. Mr. and Mrs. H. Timbers, Kaitaia were on a trip South this week. Mr. Aldwyn Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Williams of Kaitaia, has returned to Trinity College, Auckland, after a vacation with his parents, Mrs. A. Logan and Miss Madge Logan returned home from a three week’s stay in Auckland this week. Mr. and Mrs. H. Parker, of Fairburn, left this week on a motor tour south. Mr. A. Logan, of Kaitaia, left this morning for Dunedin. Mr. M. Moritle of Kaitaia was in Auckland this week.
