Licensing Committee Election Result
The election for members of the Bay of Islands Licensing Committee was held on Tuesday. The result was a return of all members of the old committee by a substantial lead. Practically no interest was taken in the election—as the number who recorded their votes shows. The following are the figures : J. Pearson 846, A. D. Clemett 820, A. H. Morgan 790,
A. A. Potter 752, E. Doel 691, with R. T. Wrathall 387 and E. V. Ralls 315 as the unsuccessful candidates.
