IN SYMPATHY WITH THE YUGOSLAV ROYAL FAMILY

The Yugoslavs in the Far North met recently and passed the following resolution which was sent on to the Consul in the Dominion for Yugoslavia to be forwarded to the proper quarter: “We have learned with the greatest horror of the cowardly assassination of our hero and beloved King, Alexander. We hasten to express our profound sympathy to you on this tragic, occasion of our National catastrophe. “Will you kindly convey through *your official capacity, to our beloved widow Queen and Royal Family our sincere condolences on the grievous loss which they have sustained. , “Also, that all loyal Yugoslavs in New Zealand, swear by Almighty God that they will firmly stand behind our new King Peter, QueenMother and Royal Family in Homeland and abroad. “Long live our precious New King ; May God bless, keep and guide his life from the enemies of our Nation : This is our earnest prayer on behalf of all loyal Yugoslavs and myself.—P. M. Sulenta.”
