IT HAS WISELY BEEN SAID

For every sunset there is a sunrise. A loving heart is the beginning of all knowledge. Get a purpose and hold to it until it holds you. *- Whatever jewels thou wearest, only humility can give them luster. Success is a series of right thoughts put into action. No one who aspires to be a success has any time to find fault. Wisdom does not always speak in Greek and Latin. Never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you. The best thing in the world is to live above it. Lies need a lot of words to back them up ; truth needs but few. Never wait for the applause unless you can give an encore. The vast majority are not living wicked lives, but cluttered lives with the lovely things crowded out. Mistakes make you wiser, cares make you more careful, and blunders show you the way. Dream big dreams ; then put on your overalls and go out and make these dreams come true. If you keep smiling long enough, before long you’ll have enough to keep smiling about. Ambition is great stuff, but use your head. A grasshopper shouldn’t try to learn to be a kangaroo. There are two things that will serve to make us happy if we attend to them ; the first is never to vex ourselves about what we cannot help; the second is never to vex ourselves about what we can help, but set to work to help it!

Prof. R. G. Tugwell : “A change in monetary ideas has its place in the new ecohomy we are trying to create, but it cannot take the place of honest readjustment through the management of prices.”

Sir Josiah Stamp : “There is a great deal of unreasoning prejudice against the mere term ‘inflation’ because of past history which is in no way comparable. I should no more call the ‘reflation’ which is now taking place from these ruinously and abnormally low price levels ‘inflation’ than I should call a man a mountaineer when he is coming up from the cellar.”
