MEETING OF HOSPITAL BOARD
A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Hospital Board was held in Kaitaia on Tuesday. The tenders for the construction of the conciete reservoir in connection with the Kaitaia Hospital water supply were considered but as all were above the Public Works Engineer s estimate, none were accepted. Accounts amounting to £378 13/6 were for payment. Tbe secretary, Mr. W. H, Atkins, reported that, an extension of time for the Unemployment Board’s subsidy for the work of the removal of the Hospital, had been obtained. Under tho original grant, the work should have commenced by Wednesday 20th inst.
