Women’s Division Dance at Takahue.
A most enjoyable dance was held in the Takahue Hall, Takahue, last evening under the auspices of the Women's Division of the Farmers’ Union, a large number of dancers attending. The floor' was in perfect condition, owing to tha work spent on it by the organisers. The Ritz Orchestra played at their best, combining with the M.C. Mr. E. Hansen, to make the dance the huge success it was. The Monte Carlo was won by Miss Y Bastard and Mr. R. White, while Miss M. Wright and Mr. A. Crene carried off the prize for the Statue Waltz. Extras were provided be Miss N. Beazley and Mr. F. Beazley. Supper was served by the members of the Division, after which dancing continued to the early hours of the morning.
