Paddys’ Market at Kaitaia.
The ladies of the Anglican Church Guild were unfortunate in their choice of a day, last Saturday, for their Paddy’s Market, held in the Parish Hall, Kaitaia, All attention was concentrated on Ninety Mile Beach and the “Southern Cross” was in the minds of the majority of the people to the exclusion of all else. Considering this great counter attraction the Market was a success and the Church funds will benefit but not so greatly as the organisers could have wished.
