AUCKLAND WOOL SALE.

The N.A. Farmers' Co-op. report that at the Auckland wool sale last week the prices for fine wools were on a par with the previous sale but crossbred was slightly easier. A line of four bales of fine wool from Mr. L.D.Bourke of Herekino, made and another line of seven bales_from the same was sold at 7J4d.

Sifting of the Court at Kaitaia A sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was held at Kaitaia last Friday before Mr. G. N. Morris S.M. For failing to pay the unemployment levy, J. B, Rowe Js.P. on Monday of this week, Wehi Walker, for the theft of £5, the property of G. Bonnett, was convicted and sentenced to 14 days imprisonment and ordered to make restitution of the sum stolen.
