Meeting of Waiharara Cemetery Committee.

A meeting of the Waiharara Cemetery Committee was held in the Waiharara Library last week. The resignation of Mr. Morning was accepted with regret and Mr. R. L. MoNabb was appointed Chairman. Mr. E. C. Wood was elected to the Committee. Satisfaction was expressed at the financial result of the recent dance, the funds being augmented by £5 16/-. Mr. Shine explained how, in spite of his repeated efforts, the fencing material had been delayed in A wanui. He had been assured that it would be despatched in the near future however. A pair of gates was ordered. A “working bee" will meet on Saturday the Ist April, to commence the fencing. Since the meeting the posts and fencing material for the cemetery Lave been landed at the wharf.
