WHANGAROA COUNTY COUNCIL VACANCIES.
Owing to the Oniaunu riding in the Whangaroa County having been merged in the Kaeo riding, representatves of both ridings on the Whangaroa County have resigned and an election for a representative of the combined riding will be held. Nominations of candidates for the vacancy will close on Saturday, April 8, before noon. Mr. C. P. Shepherd, member for the Whangaroa riding on the Whangaroa County Council and Hospital and Harbour Boards has resigned. Nominations for the vacancy close on Saturday, April 8, and if an election is necessary, it will be held on Vveunesday, April 19.
