A Schoolgirl Accident
On Wednesday afternoon of last week an unfortunate accident happened to Kathleen McCarthy, the six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. McCarthy, of Awanui. While returning home in the school bus she managed to get the third finger of her right hand jammed in the door lever, crushing it rather severely. Prompt medical aid was rendered and though very painful the injury will leave no permanent trace.
