THE RAEO BRIDGE
The Minister of Public Works has informed the member for the district, Mr. Rushworth, that he is prepared to favourably consider a grant to cover the total estimated cost of erecting this bridge, which will give access to the Houhora Heads. There is a free grant of £IOO on the current year’s estimates for this bridge, and the proposed grant is subject to the Mangonui County Council agreeing to treat any funds authorised as a charge against its allocation for the present year.
