SUCCESSFUL DANCE

A most successful dance was held ori Saturday evening in the A.artdP. Hall. The dance which was held in honour of the Whangarei footballers who were visiting the district was one of the largest gatherings the district has had for some time. In spite of their defeat, the guests were in their highest of spirits and to them much is due for a pleasant and enjoyable dance. Great praise and credit is due to Mr. E. Buckley and his committee to whose untiring efforts, the organising and success Of dance was entirely due. Thanks too, is due to Messrs W, Martin, J. Feeney and B. Rowell who supplied excellent music, extras being supplied by Miss N. Beazley.
