VICTORIA VALLEY SCHOOL PICNIC
The annual picnic of the Valley School, held on the beach at Taipa last December, was well attended and was a great success. The weather was perfect. In the early morning three lorries and a number of private cars, all well filled with children, parents and eatables, left on a pleasant ride to the beach. Pipis were gathered, cooked and eaten —a treat for young and old—and after a bathing and paddling, and afternoon tea, fruit and sweets, all returned home well satisfied that Taipa is the right place for school picnic,
