CHAMPION FRIESIAN
The noted British Friesian cow Sudbourne Flossiewijk has yielded for the third time upwards of 2000 gallons ot milk in 1 lie year. This cow, which was born in 1920, has calved on five occasions, and her milk records for each lactation are as follow :
First, 1,385 gallons; second 1,680 gallons; third, 2,580 gallons; fourth, 2,365 gallons ; fifth, 2,170 gallons. The first lactation was for 316 days, the fifth for 234 days, and the others for 365 days. Sudbourne Flossiewijk won the reserve championship in the milking and first prize in the inspection class at trials at the Royal and Yorkshire shows the last London Dairy Show.
