Ponui Resurrected.
Mr. T. Fleming’s Purchase
Well known to the public as a former winner of the Great Northern Hurdles and of several cups Ponui (Potc-Seabird) has been purchased by Mr. T. J. Fleming of Awanui, and is being prepared for the Waipapakauri Racing Club’s meeting next January.. Ponui is being trained by his owner, who tells us in confidence he has resurrected the old-time winner and has him running like a three-year-old.
