Mr D White, Manager of the Kaitaia branch of the Bank of New Zealand has returned from his annual holiday.
We regret to announce the death of the infant son of Mr and Mrs L Watts of Manurewa, one time residents of this district, which took place yesterday. Mr and Mrs C S Puckey and their son Cecil left for Palmerston North on Friday. Mr Puckey is * attending a farmer’s conference in that town and Cecil will spend a term of three months at the Massey Agricultural College. Mr Frank Puckey who has been on a holiday spent in Auckland and Whangarei returned to Kaitaia last evening. Miss Marjorie Smith was tendered a gift evening in the Whangaroa Hall, prior to her marriage to Mr B Francis of Oruru.
