Kaitaia School Committee
A meeting ot the Kaitaia school committee was held on Monday night. The application for a new schoolroom to be built has been agreed to by the Education Department.
The head-master Mr. G. Slane informed the parents that the ten pupils who sat for their proficiencies at the last exam, were all successful. The names of the pupils are: Mervyn Crene, Bob Werner, Fed Parker, Ben Lethwick, Arthur Head, Wilfred Farrimond, Joan JTohnstone, Pixie Fryty:,. Elsie McKinnon and Doris Geara.
Arrangements for tarring the paths at the school will take place during the Xmas holidays. The forthcoming children’s concert which takes place on Friday also came under discussion.
