THE FOLLIES REVUE AND CIRCUMSTANCES ALTER CASES. VISIT TO HEREKINO
The Follies Revue in company with the members of 1 >rcumstances Alter Cases visited Herekino qn Friday night hist where they staged the ab.jve plays with whicii the Ka'taia public is familiar. The joint companies were well received by an appreciable audience. The ballet girls in their v rious dances brought forth merited applause. The sketches too were very good and so were the kiddes dances. In “Circumstances Alter Cases” Mick Goldsbro’ as Count Von Donnerwetter absolutely lived his part. As the Count of no account one could hardly recognise the blase young man of Kai taia. His antics were typical of the fussy foreigner, on the stage and his comical attitudes and assumed tones -and expressions were most amusing. Miss Watteridge, Miss Jean McKinnon Miss V. Matthews, Mr. Walker and Mr. Bruce McKinnon as the supporting cast were good. Mrs. Glynan played all the music.
The Ballet girls were : Misses K., A., and M. Urlich, V. and E. Matthews and D Geard. In the sketches •. re: Mrs. Salvair Misses E. anil V. Matthews, Messrs Walker, Rowe and Hec Kirtlan. The Kaitaia Hospital will benefit by the sum of £l7 as the result of this function.
