Waimate Show
Improving The Grounds Since the schedule was issued Mr C Wells of Okaihau has donated a cup to the Association for the Champion Romney Ram. This year a long-felt necesssary improvement is being carried out viz., the enclosing of the ring witn something more substantial thaa a wire, which is being replaced with l%inch galvanised p.ping, which measuring nearly inches outside makes quite a good rail. A very successful bee was held last Saturday but a good deal still remains to be done on the Show Ground.
Clothes moths lay their eggs in any crack or crevice where dust can collect. The space between the floor-boards and the skirtingboards is a favourite place. Woods' Great Peppermint dure, For Coughs and Colds, never fails.
