The Waikato Seat.

Mr S N Ziman, of Cambridge, has decided to contest the Waikato seat against all comers at the general election next year. He announces himself as an Independent Reform candidate. Mr Ziman is a comparatively new resident of Cambridge, where he purchased a farm on Hamilton road. He will be remembered as having won the Rhodes scholarship 1908. In 1910 he passed the Indian Civil Service. He served is captain in the Indian A-my in the Great War, and in 19x9 was appointed secretary to the Government in Bombay, with a seat on the Legislative Council.
