A Very Fine Function

(From Our Own Correspondent) A most enjoyable evening was spent at Oruru last Friday when the basketball and football clubs held their annual Ball. Athough rain had been falling during the day the evening was fine and there was a large attendance from all parts of the County. | Christensen’s Trio provider) excellent music extras being played by Mesdames Green, E Bell and J Garton. Mr Grant carried out tMe duties of M C in a very capable manner. The hall was beautifully decorated with n.kau palms and coloured streamers and formed an artistic background for. the many beautiful frocks worn.
