At his Oiiaeawai meeting last night Mr. Bell said that he was j invited by the President of the Auckland Executive N.Z.F.U. to contest the Bay seat in the inter- j ests of the Conntry Party. This j is absolutely incorrect, Mr. Bell also said that Mr. Poison had said he was not in favour of the Union taking political act- : ion. This is not correct. When on tour in the North recently Mr. Po.son said he was I personally in favour of political! action but as Dominion President he took no part. Harry Roberts President.
