MR.SWEENEY AT FAIRBORN Mr, Sweeney addressed about 20 eie* tors at the FairburnKaiaka Hall on Monday night and made a good imprasaian his exposition of the Party's policy being followed with interest. Mr. A. Stevens preaided over the meeting. At question time Mr. Sweeney flatly contradicted the statement that the Country Party would ally itself with Labour against the Government and read a telegram from Mr. Ross (published elsewhere.) The candidate was accoided a hearty vote of thanks and cenidence on the motion of Messrs J. M. Dawson and T. J. Coulter.
