WEDDING.
HANLON-BANKS. A wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised in the Presbyterian Church, Kaitaia, on Thursday last, the Rev W. Elliott, M.A., officiating. The contracting parties were Edith Cora, »nly daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Banks, Kaitaia, and Robert Dudley, youngest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. L. Hanlon, of Whangarei. The bride, who was given away by her father, was becomingly attired in a frock of crepe krage draped over with silver lace and she carried a bouquet of arum lillies. Miss Winnie Banks, (Matamata), cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore a frock of pink georgette with blue and silver medallions. She carried a shower boquet. Mr. Charles Hanlon was best man. A reception was held at the Library Hall, wfiere the bride’s mother, in a frock of grey brocaded crepe de chene received the numerous guests. The future home of the newly-married couple will be in Kaitaia,
