HARVEST FESTIVAL.
Last week a sale of produce and a concert in aid of the Methodist Church Vuk place at Mangonui, £22/16/. being raised. The following contributed items to the concert programme: Recitations, Mrs. John Garton; songs, Mr. John Garton; recitations, Mrs. Jones; Mrs. Daly ; pianoforte solo, Master C. Lincoln: recitation, Mr. B. H. N. Teague. After the concert the “fruits of the earth” were auctioned by Messrs. Wilton and Garton, everything being dispoed of. The Rev, Teague leaves next month for Waitara.
