High Water at Auckland.
Thes* tides arc mathematically calculated to the formula of the British Admiralty, and are fur the place of tide at Queen Street Wharf: a difference may be found between them and those naturally produced from effect of winds and currents outside port limits. An easterly wind will retard the tide, and a westerly wind accelerate it, t« the extent of thirty minutes. These influences must be noted and allowed for when referring to these tide tables.
