Master Gordon Wilson, son of Mr J. L. Wilson, the Mangonui County’s new Engineer, has just relumed from the Kawakawa Hospital. He has been ill for three months, but is now on the way to recovery. Mr J. Boswell, of Kawakawa, has arrived in Kaitaia, Witth his wife and child. Mr Boswell has purchased Mr Laurie’s business. Among recent visitors to the district were the directors and officials of the Northern Wairoa Dairy Co., who stayed at the Awanui Hotel, and expressed themselves in terms of high praise of the accommodation and attention. The party comprised : Thos. Bassett (Chairman), Capt J. Seymour, G. H Stubbs, Wm. Simpkin, C. N. Taylor, A. Morgan, A. L. Billing (Secretary), Thos. Downs (Manager). Mr A. C. Noble has arrived home, much improved in health.
