Kawakawa Races.

Last Friday Kawakawa was en fete. It was the day of the annual races. There was a large attendance and fairly good sport. The results were Maiden Plate.—Lady Lanta 1, Lady Sperry 2, Waiata 3. Flying Handicap.—Disooverer 1, Mid. cyr 2. These were the only starters. Kawakawa Cup.—Lady Ellen 1, Jollv Tar 2, Shorts Handicap.—Disoovarer walked over, Railway Plate.—Discoverer 1, gyfioet Alice 2.
