" 1 At a meeting of the Canterbury Industrial Association held in Christchurch on Saturday night a resolution was passed urging an enquiry into the unemployed question. The Government are to be asked to appoint a Conciliation Commissioner to preside over a Commission composed of members of Industrial Associations and Workers' Unions in each centre. •
