Next Saturday’s Cricket.
Waipapakauri cricketers will visit Mangonui on Saturday next to try conclusions with the home team. Waipapakauri will be strongly represented and if Hirst and one or two other of their prominent players are in form the Mangonui eleven should have to play in order to win.
The chosen of Waipapakauri are Messrs. Hirst, Campbell, Goodwin, T. Houston, McKeown, Coulson, Roberts, Saunders, Claudet and H. Christensen, with Messrs. A. Christensen, C. W. Cooper and E. Noble as emergencies. Mangonui will be represented by Messrs. L. Matthews (Captain), S. and R. Wrathall, W. A. Wilton, P. Lambly, L. Martin, L, and J. Penney, K. Logan, A. Irvine and J. Houston. The home eleven will therefore be at its full strength.
