Waipapakauri.

(From our own Correspondent.) The ladies and gentlemen of Waipapakauri were busy getting the hall in trim on Saturday night for the farewell hall to Miss Annie Richards, who by then will have become Mrs. A. Maria. Mr. Ned Evans came back from Auckland this week. The Diggers’ Christmas Box—gum down £o a ton. A basket social comes off on Tuesday night in the Maori hall, in aid of their church funds. The school inspector, Mr. Grierson, does the Awanui school on Thursday 13th, and Mangatete on the 14th. Tenders are invited for a lot of work at the Awanui school grounds. More improvements. December 10th, 1906.
