In last issue of “ Weekly News ” we notice some Kenana correspondence, which looks very “fishy,” to say tho least of it. We received something similar ourselves a few days ago, but perceiving ulterior motives we promptly suppressed it. The correspondence referred to says that although the attendance at the native school is good, etc., the examination results were very unsatisfactory, only three pupils passing. As a matter of fact, the passes obtained at Kenana school were very high and quite the reverse of what this particular correspondent would lead people to believe. Two pupils have qualified for college also, and in addition we know that the Kenana school has been highly commended on more than one occasion. The trash we received and the notes in the “ Weekly ” evidently emanated from the same source, and are palpably a distortion of facts. All we can say is it’s a pity some people hadn't a soul shove suoh meanness.
