DIED.
On the ltih November, John "Waring Saxton, Esq., of Oak. lands, Stoke, aged 57. [Mr. Saxton was an early Nclaou settler, and for several years took an active part in public affairs. He was a candidate for tho Superintendency at the first election for that office, aud pressed Mr. Stafford, whp was elected, very hard. Mr. Saxton sat for two or three sessions in the Provincial Council, but resigned his seat, and paid a visit to England. After his return to the colony he suffered a severe illness, from ivhich lie never wholly recovered. For the last twelve months his health had been in a very lo« - state. The deceased gentleman was of most amiable manners, and highly esteemed by his frieuds.l
