Chief Post Office, Nelson, June 16, 1865. rFENDERS, in duplicate, will be received at X. this Office, until THUR9DAY, 29th instant, at Noon, from parties willing to CONTRACT to CONVEY H.M. MAILS to and from the Post Offices at NELSON, STOKE, RICHMOND, SPRING GROVE, WAIMEA VILLAGE, and WAKEFIELD, on Tuesdays, Thubbdays, and Satubdats (unless prevented crossing the rivers by reason of floods), delivering the Mails at the Post Office, Nelson, by Eleven o'clock, a.m., on the above days, and removing the outward Mails at Three o'clock, p.m., the same days ; delivering the Mail-bags at Stoke, nt or before 3*45, p.m. ; at Richmond, by 430, p.m. ; at Spring Grove, by 530, p.m. ; at Waiaiea Village, by 6-15, p.m. ; and at Wakefield, by 715, p.m., on the above-mentioned days. Two sureties for the due performance of the contract will be required, and should the contractor neglect to fulGl the game, the Postmaster-General will cause the Mails to be conveyed by other parties, at the expense of the contractor.
